Vintervarme

Close, warm, and without a single unnecessary kilometre

December in Oslo is dark at three o'clock. Vintervarme embraces this rather than fighting it. The entire gathering is located in one building near Oslo S, so no one spends an hour travelling between hotel, plenary sessions, and dinner. This frees up time for what Kari actually asked for: for people to talk to each other. The programme is built around small rooms and short plenary blocks, not the other way around. The big evening isn't a show on a stage, but a house gradually filling with light, sound, and food across several floors. For a bank that has been told its gatherings are too corporate, this is the clearest possible answer: zero flights, zero busing, and a carbon footprint you can present without reservations.

Scandinavia's largest hotel, with conference facilities and accommodation in the same building, 200 metres from Oslo Central Station. Everything from arrival to late-night snacks happens without participants needing to step out into the winter cold. The venue is built for large gatherings and can host banquets for 1000 in one room.

Season

The Christmas party season is the venue's busiest period. December dates for 1000 people must be secured early, and prices are higher than the rest of the year.

Sustainability

Certified operation with a documented food waste programme and its own rooftop honey production. Everything under one roof means zero internal transport between hotel, plenary, and dinner.

04Food and drink

The menu is built to be served to the full party at once, with nothing left standing and waiting. Every dish exists in a full plant based version.

06The extra details

The concept lives in the small decisions. These are the touches we would build in, the ones guests notice without being told to look.

08Next steps

Tell us which direction lands, and we will take it all the way.

The next step is an hour together. We walk through the chosen concept, lock dates with the venue and set up a detailed production plan. Peak dates go early, so an earlier decision gives the best selection.
