Since 1927, Höegh has benefited from the people who have dedicated their professional lives to the business. From the crew on the first liner vessels to today's international organisation, it is the expertise, loyalty and cooperation across nationalities that has driven the group forward.
The anniversary brings together hands and minds from offices in Oslo and Shanghai to sailors on all the world's oceans. By highlighting personal stories and the close solidarity across borders, we celebrate the organisation that manages the legacy and shapes tomorrow's maritime transport.
Höegh has a unique organisational culture with over a thousand seafarers from the Philippines and China, alongside hundreds of land-based employees, combined with long-term ownership spanning three generations. Its people are the most valuable resource for ensuring continuity and implementing the green transition.

Welcome to a celebration where people are absolutely at the centre. For a hundred years, it has been the expertise, dedication, and solidarity among employees that have carried Höegh across the world's oceans. This summer day at Bogstad Gård, we gather the entire Höegh family across generations, departments, and national borders to celebrate our shared journey.
The park will be transformed into a lively village of international food stations and creative workshops. Here, children can express themselves in cultural workshops while pensioners and current employees share their stories over a celebratory drink. The expression is warm, humanistic, and inclusive, framed by warm wooden materials, organic textiles, and personal portraits of employees through the decades.
The absolute highlight of the day is the creation of a monumental collaborative artwork. Together, children, employees, and pensioners will press their handprints onto a gigantic canvas monument. This sail will be a lasting symbol that it is people who power new generations, and it will adorn the wall of the head office as a daily reminder of our collective strength.
